Tour Plan
Arrive at Islamabad International Airport and get transferred to your hotel. After checking in, begin your exploration of the capital city by visiting the iconic Faisal Mosque, which offers stunning architecture and panoramic views of the city. Next, head to the Pakistan Monument, where you can learn about the country's heritage, followed by a visit to the Lok Virsa Museum, which offers insights into the diverse cultural fabric of Pakistan. Take a scenic drive to Daman-e-Koh for an incredible view of Islamabad at sunset. Enjoy a delicious dinner at Monal Restaurant or explore the traditional Saidpur Village for a cultural experience. Stay overnight in Islamabad.

On the second day, embark on your journey from Islamabad to Naran, which is the preferred route, taking the Hazara Expressway and passing through Balakot. If the Babusar Pass is open, you’ll continue to Naran, stopping at beautiful spots like Lulusar Lake and Babusar Top. If the Babusar Pass is closed due to weather conditions, take the alternate route via Besham and Dassu, heading toward Chilas, where the mountain views are equally stunning. Arrive in Naran or Chilas by evening and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive from Naran or Chilas to Skardu. This route takes you alongside the Indus River, where the beauty of dramatic cliffs and valleys is unmatched. As you travel through breathtaking landscapes, you’ll stop at Junction Point of Three Mountain Ranges, where the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush all converge. You will also visit important spots like Nanga Parbat Viewpoint. Arriving in Skardu by evening, check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Spend the day exploring Skardu, the gateway to some of the most stunning landscapes in Pakistan. First, visit the serene Satpara Lake, a picturesque water body surrounded by towering mountains. Later, take a trip to Shigar Valley, famous for its lush green scenery and the historic Shigar Fort, which once served as a royal residence. In the evening, if you have time, head up to Kharpocho Fort for a spectacular sunset view over Skardu city. Enjoy your overnight stay in Skardu.

On this day, take a full-day 4x4 jeep ride to Deosai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the highest plateaus in the world. Known as the Rooftop of the World, Deosai is famous for its beautiful alpine lakes, wildflowers, and abundant wildlife. You will visit Sheosar Lake and Bara Pani, where the beauty of the landscapes is mesmerizing. With luck, you may spot Himalayan brown bears, foxes, and a variety of birds. Return to Skardu by evening for an overnight stay.

Begin your day with a visit to the majestic Shigar Valley, home to ancient forts and breathtaking landscapes. First, explore the beautifully restored Shigar Fort, a 400-year-old palace-turned-boutique hotel surrounded by fruit orchards and the mighty Karakoram. Then, continue toward the Sarfaranga Cold Desert, one of the highest cold deserts in the world. With white sand dunes and snowcapped mountains in the backdrop, it's a surreal landscape unlike any other. Enjoy photography, optional ATV rides, or simply marvel at the serene beauty of this natural wonder. Return to Skardu by evening.
Today, you’ll visit Upper Kachura Lake, an alpine lake known for its crystal-clear waters and stunning backdrop of mountains. You can take a boat ride here or simply enjoy the serenity of the lake. Then, continue your exploration to Soq Valley, a place famous for its breathtaking views and peaceful environment. On the way back, stop at Lower Kachura or Shangrila Resort for a relaxed lunch or tea. Enjoy a free evening for shopping in Skardu Bazaar or relaxing at your hotel.

After breakfast, start the return journey from Skardu. You will drive back through the same scenic route, either via Naran or Chilas, depending on road conditions. In Naran, you’ll have the chance to explore the area further, while in Chilas, you can enjoy more scenic views. Stay overnight in either Naran or Chilas.

On the final day, begin your journey back to Islamabad. Enjoy a relaxed drive with plenty of stopovers for photo opportunities and to explore local villages along the way. After a stop for lunch, continue your drive to Islamabad and arrive by evening. You can either check in to your hotel or head to Islamabad International Airport for your departure.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
