Tour Plan

Begin your adventure in Lahore, a city bursting with culture, history, and Mughal magnificence. After breakfast, head straight to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lahore Fort, an architectural masterpiece filled with historical depth. Adjacent to it is the magnificent Badshahi Mosque, the second-largest mosque in Pakistan, radiating grandeur and spiritual energy. Afterward, delve into the heart of the Walled City, where history breathes through narrow alleys, colorful bazaars, and centuries-old havelis. Walk through Delhi Gate, marvel at the intricate tile work of the Wazir Khan Mosque, and enjoy the local street food culture. End the day with dinner at a traditional rooftop restaurant overlooking the illuminated monuments.

Begin with a visit to the iconic Lahore Museum, home to impressive Gandhara sculptures, miniature paintings, Islamic calligraphy, and British-era artifacts. Next, head to the enchanting Shalimar Gardens, one of the most beautiful Mughal gardens laid out by Shah Jahan. In the afternoon, relax or explore local markets. Then, proceed to the Wagah Border to witness the ceremonial flag-lowering ritual performed with synchronized drill and national pride. This emotional experience reflects the patriotism of both Pakistan and India. Return to Lahore for dinner and overnight stay.

After a traditional breakfast, check out and begin the road trip toward Islamabad (approximately 4–5 hours via M-2 Motorway). Enjoy scenic views of the countryside and lush fields along the way. Upon arrival in Islamabad, check into your hotel. Spend your evening exploring Jinnah Super Market, known for its diverse eateries and boutiques, or visit Daman-e-Koh to catch a panoramic view of the capital under the twilight sky. Relax with a quiet dinner in one of Islamabad’s serene restaurants.

Rise early and head north toward Swat Valley via the Swat Expressway. On the way, stop by the Swat Museum in Saidu Sharif, which showcases an excellent collection of Gandharan statues, artifacts, and Buddhist heritage. Continue to the White Palace in Marghazar, a splendid royal residence made of white marble from the same quarry as the Taj Mahal. Surrounded by lush green hills and flower-filled gardens, the White Palace offers insights into Swat's princely past. Arrive in Mingora or Fizagat in the evening and check into a riverside hotel. Enjoy a peaceful dinner as the Swat River flows nearby.

After breakfast, set off for Malam Jabba, a renowned mountain resort that offers skiing in winter and nature walks in summer. Enjoy thrilling activities like zip-lining, chair lift rides, and hiking through pine forests. The fresh mountain air and expansive views of the valley make this a refreshing and exhilarating day. In the evening, return to Fizagat. Enjoy a leisurely dinner, or shop for local handicrafts and shawls in the nearby markets.

Check out after breakfast and begin your drive to the mountain town of Kalam, a gem of Swat Valley. The road offers spectacular views of the Swat River winding through pine-covered hills and quaint villages. Along the way, stop for scenic photography and interaction with locals. Once in Kalam, check into your hotel surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Spend your evening relaxing by the riverbank or exploring the local bazaar filled with dried fruits, handicrafts, and mountain herbs.

Prepare for a day of breathtaking adventure as you board a 4x4 jeep for a rugged but rewarding journey to Mahodand Lake. Enclosed by towering peaks and pine forests, this alpine lake is a vision of natural serenity. Enjoy boating in the crystal-clear waters, horse riding along the lake shore, or simply soak in the mountain majesty. A picnic by the lake with fresh trout or local snacks adds to the charm. Visit nearby waterfalls like Saifullah Lake and return to Kalam by evening.

Leave Kalam early and journey back to Islamabad via the same scenic route. Break the long drive with meals and tea stops at comfortable rest areas. Upon reaching Islamabad, check into your hotel. Use the evening to relax and unwind after the long day or enjoy a quiet dinner at a rooftop restaurant with city views.

Begin your day with a visit to Lok Virsa Museum, which offers a rich insight into Pakistan’s cultural heritage from all provinces. Continue to the Pakistan Monument, symbolizing national unity, followed by lunch in the charming Saidpur Village, known for its historic Hindu temple, cobbled streets, and vibrant cafes. End your exploration at the Faisal Mosque, an architectural marvel that stands as a spiritual beacon in the city. Overnight in Islamabad.

After breakfast, transfer to Islamabad International Airport for your flight back home. Depart with unforgettable memories of majestic mountains, historical wonders, warm hospitality, and the cultural mosaic that makes Pakistan a truly unique destination.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
