Karachi City Tour
You will begin your exploration of Karachi with visits to some of its historical landmarks:
• Quaid-e-Azam’s Mausoleum: Visit the tomb of the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and pay your respects.
• Mohatta Palace Museum: Explore the colonial-era palace filled with art and cultural history.
• Frere Hall: See the British-era building surrounded by peaceful gardens.
• National Museum of Pakistan: Discover ancient artifacts, including relics from the Indus Valley Civilization.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy sunset at Sea View Beach, followed by a traditional dinner at Do Darya, a popular food street along the sea.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Karachi and begin your drive towards Thatta, which takes around 2 hours. This route takes you through Sindh’s landscape, rich with history and old stories.

Your first stop will be the Chaukhandi Tombs, a mysterious burial ground known for its beautifully carved sandstone graves. These graves belong to warriors and tribal leaders, and their unique style reflects the culture and traditions of ancient Sindhi tribes.

Next, you will explore the Makli Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest graveyards in the world, with hundreds of tombs dating back centuries. The site is a peaceful place filled with carved stones, domes, and ancient architecture that tells the story of rulers, saints, and scholars.

You will then visit the Shah Jahan Mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. This mosque is famous for its beautiful blue tile work and over 100 domes. It is considered one of the most beautiful mosques in Pakistan and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture.
In the late afternoon, you will continue your drive towards Hyderabad, which will take around 2 more hours.

Once you arrive in Hyderabad, you will check in at the hotel and have time to relax and prepare for the next day.
After breakfast at your hotel in Hyderabad, you will begin your spiritual and cultural journey towards Sehwan. But before reaching Sehwan, there are important spiritual and cultural stops along the way.

Your first visit will be to the Shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, one of the most beloved Sufi poets of Sindh. His poetry speaks of love, peace, and devotion. The shrine is a place where many devotees come to seek blessings and feel spiritually connected.

Next, you will make a short visit to Haala, a town known for its traditional Sindhi arts and crafts. If time allows, you may see the local art institute or pottery workshops where Sindhi tiles and patterns are still made by hand.

After your stop in Haala, you will continue driving to Sehwan, which takes about 3 hours in total from Hyderabad.

In the evening, you will visit the famous Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, a major Sufi saint whose shrine attracts thousands of people daily. If you are there in the evening, you may witness the Dhamal, a spiritual Sufi dance performed to the rhythm of drums. It’s a powerful experience that shows deep spiritual devotion and energy.

After breakfast in Sehwan, you will check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards Sukkur, located about 4 hours away. This drive will take you through the heart of Sindh province, where the land tells the stories of ancient civilizations and river life.

On the way to Sukkur, you will stop at one of the most important archaeological sites in the world — Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

At Mohenjo-Daro, you will explore the remains of one of the world’s earliest cities, dating back to 2500 BCE. You will see the Great Bath, which was used for religious or community bathing, and walk through the well-planned streets and buildings of this ancient civilization. The site gives you a real sense of how advanced the people of the Indus Valley were in their planning and lifestyle.

After your visit to Mohenjo-Daro, you will continue the drive to Sukkur.

Once you reach Sukkur, you will explore the Sukkur Barrage, an impressive irrigation structure built during British rule. This barrage is key to the region’s agriculture and is a great example of engineering from the colonial period.

Your first stop will be in Uch Sharif, a very old town known for its beautiful and spiritual Sufi shrines. Here, you will visit the Tomb of Bibi Jawindi, a unique structure with glazed blue tiles and intricate brickwork. This tomb, part of the Uch Sharif necropolis, is an important example of Islamic architecture and a peaceful place for reflection.

After Uch Sharif, you will continue your journey deeper into the Cholistan region to see the Derawar Fort. This massive fort stands in the middle of the desert with its impressive 40 bastions. It is a reminder of the power of the Nawabs of Bahawalpur and the strategic importance of the desert routes.

Your day begins with a visit to the majestic Noor Mahal, a palace built in the 19th century by the Nawab of Bahawalpur. This building is a blend of Italian and Islamic architecture and reflects the grandeur of the royal family. Inside, you’ll see old furniture, royal pictures, and historic relics.

Next, you will visit the Bahawalpur Museum, which displays a wide range of artifacts including traditional arts, manuscripts, and items from the former state of Bahawalpur. It gives insight into the region’s culture and history.

After exploring Bahawalpur, you will drive to Multan, a city known for its Sufi shrines and handicrafts. Upon arrival, you will visit the Blue Pottery Institute, where artisans create beautiful handmade pottery using traditional designs and natural dyes. You will have the chance to watch the process and even purchase some items if you wish.

Later, you will explore the famous Sufi shrines that make Multan the “City of Saints”:
• Shrine of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, a large and beautifully designed tomb with a unique dome.
• Shrine of Shah Shams Tabrez, where you can see many devotees visiting and praying.
• Shrine of Bahauddin Zakariya, one of the oldest and most respected Sufi centers in the region.

This archaeological site shows the remains of a city that existed more than 4,000 years ago. Here, you can see the ruins of city walls, old streets, pottery, and ancient burial grounds. A small museum at the site displays the tools, jewelry, and household items found during excavations.

After exploring Harappa, you will continue driving toward Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan.

After breakfast, you will begin exploring Lahore, a city filled with historical sites, artistic beauty, and lively bazaars.

Your first stop will be the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This massive fort was built and expanded by several Mughal emperors. You will walk through the royal courts, audience halls, gardens, and beautiful wall paintings, getting a sense of the Mughal royal lifestyle.

Just beside the fort is the Badshahi Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Built by Emperor Aurangzeb in 1673, it is a beautiful place with red sandstone walls, white marble domes, and a vast courtyard that can hold tens of thousands of worshippers.

Next, you will walk through the historic Delhi Gate, one of the original entrances to the Walled City of Lahore. This area is full of history, narrow streets, and traditional shops.

You will start your day at the Lahore Museum, the largest and oldest museum in the country. It houses artifacts from the Indus Valley, Buddhist sculptures from the Gandhara period, Islamic coins, miniature paintings, and many other cultural treasures.

Next, you will visit the Maqbara of Emperor Jahangir, the tomb of the Mughal emperor who ruled during the early 1600s. Surrounded by peaceful gardens and built with red sandstone and marble, this site offers a quiet place for reflection.

You will then visit the beautiful Shalimar Gardens, another masterpiece of Mughal landscape design. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan, these gardens have flowing water channels, fountains, and shaded walkways that show the Mughal love for symmetry and nature.

In the evening, you will travel to the Wagah Border, where you will witness the famous flag-lowering ceremony at the Pakistan-India border. This daily ceremony is filled with energy and patriotism, as soldiers from both sides perform a well-coordinated military drill.

After breakfast at your hotel in Lahore, you will check out and begin your journey towards Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. The drive is approximately 5 hours via the historic Grand Trunk (GT) Road, one of South Asia’s oldest and most important highways.

Along the way, you will make a stop at Hiran Minar in Sheikhupura. This unique structure was built by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir in memory of his beloved pet deer. It is surrounded by a large water tank and features a pavilion in the center. The peaceful surroundings make it a great place for a short walk and photos.

Continuing the drive, you will stop at the Katas Raj Temples, a sacred Hindu complex located in the Salt Range mountains. These ancient temples are built around a holy pond, believed to have formed from the tears of Lord Shiva. The site is not only spiritually important but also beautifully set against a backdrop of hills.

In the late afternoon or evening, you will arrive in Islamabad. After reaching the capital city, you will check in at a comfortable hotel and have time to rest.

After breakfast, you will begin a full-day city tour of Islamabad, known for its clean layout, green parks, and modern buildings mixed with cultural heritage.

You will start at the iconic Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Its unique design resembles a desert tent, and it sits at the foot of the Margalla Hills. This mosque is not only a place of worship but also a symbol of Pakistan’s modern Islamic identity.

Next, you will visit the Pakistan Monument, a beautiful flower-shaped structure that represents the unity of the four provinces. Inside the monument complex is a museum that tells the story of Pakistan’s history and independence movement.

You will then head to Lok Virsa Museum, which showcases the cultural heritage of Pakistan’s many ethnic groups. Through displays of clothes, music instruments, art, and traditional homes, you’ll gain a better understanding of the country’s diversity.

For a scenic view of the city, you will drive up to Daman-e-Koh, a viewpoint in the Margalla Hills. From here, you can enjoy a wide view of Islamabad’s skyline, including Faisal Mosque and the Parliament House.

If time allows, you may also visit Rawal Lake, a man-made reservoir surrounded by green areas and walking paths.

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Peshawar, one of the oldest cities in South Asia.

On the way, you will stop at Taxila, an ancient city and UNESCO World Heritage Site that played a major role in the Buddhist world.

Your visit to Taxila will begin at the Dharmarajika Stupa, one of the earliest Buddhist monuments in Pakistan. You will then explore the Jaulian Monastery, where monks once lived, meditated, and taught. The ruins are located on a hill, offering both history and scenic views.

After seeing the ancient sites, you will visit the Taxila Museum, which houses many items found during excavations, including stone Buddha statues, coins, tools, and jewelry from the Gandhara civilization.

From Taxila, you will continue driving towards Peshawar, a city that has been a center of trade, culture, and politics for thousands of years. Once you arrive, your first stop will be the Peshawar Museum, famous for its Gandhara Buddhist art collection. You will see beautifully preserved sculptures, religious figures, and ancient artifacts.

Next, you will explore Qissa Khwani Bazaar, known as the “Storytellers’ Market.” In the past, travelers, poets, and storytellers gathered here to share news and tales. Today, it remains a lively market with shops selling spices, fabrics, and traditional goods.

After this cultural and historical journey, you will check in at your hotel in Peshawar.

After breakfast at your hotel in Peshawar, you will check out and begin your journey towards Takht-e-Bahi, located around 1.5 hours away. This archaeological site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved Buddhist monastic complexes in South Asia.

Once you arrive at Takht-e-Bahi, you will begin your guided tour of the hilltop ruins. The complex includes meditation rooms, assembly halls, stupas, and monastic cells where monks once lived over 2,000 years ago.

From the top, you will enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. It’s a peaceful place that offers insight into ancient Buddhist practices and architecture.

After your visit, you will continue the drive towards the beautiful Swat Valley, which will take approximately 3.5 hours. Along the way, the landscape will change from plains to lush green mountains, forests, and river valleys.

Upon reaching Swat, you will explore the Swat Museum, which holds a rich collection of Gandhara sculptures, ancient coins, and artifacts from the Buddhist period. The museum offers a perfect connection between your earlier visit to Takht-e-Bahi and Swat’s historical background.
You will also visit the White Palace (Sufaid Mahal) in Marghazar, which was built by the Wali (ruler) of Swat in the early 20th century. This beautiful white marble palace is set against the mountains and has served as a residence for dignitaries, including Queen Elizabeth II.

After an early breakfast, you will check out from your hotel and begin a long but scenic journey from Swat to Chilas, which will take about 8 to 9 hours. The drive follows the route toward the majestic Karakoram Highway, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” due to its engineering and the dramatic landscapes it crosses.

Along the way, you will pass through Shangla Top, a high-altitude mountain pass with breathtaking views of pine forests and terraced fields. This is a great place to stop briefly, stretch your legs, and take photos of the natural beauty.

As the journey continues, you will follow the Indus River, Pakistan’s longest river, flowing with great power through deep valleys. There will be several viewpoints where you can stop to admire the raw beauty of the river and the towering mountains around you.

By evening, you will arrive in Chilas, a town that serves as a gateway to Gilgit-Baltistan and the Karakoram mountain range. Though simple in nature, Chilas is a key resting point for travelers making their way toward the legendary north.

After this full day of mountain travel, check in at your hotel in Chilas and rest.

After breakfast in Chilas, you will begin your drive towards the enchanting valley of Hunza. The journey takes around 6 hours and follows the Karakoram Highway, one of the highest paved roads in the world.

The drive is filled with natural wonders and important geological points. Your first scenic stop will be at the Nanga Parbat Viewpoint, where you can see the ninth highest mountain in the world. Standing at over 8,100 meters, Nanga Parbat is also known as the “Killer Mountain” due to its difficult climbing history.

Further along, you will stop at the Junction Point of Three Mountain Ranges, where the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush ranges meet. This is one of the only places on Earth where three of the world’s greatest mountain systems come together. It’s a perfect place to take memorable photographs.

Next, you will visit the Rakaposhi Viewpoint, where you will get a clear view of the Rakaposhi Peak (7,788 meters), known for its sheer rise from the valley floor. The surrounding area often has glaciers, waterfalls, and clear skies, making it one of the most photographed mountains in Pakistan.

By the afternoon or evening, you will arrive in Hunza, specifically in Karimabad, the main town of the valley. This town is surrounded by snow-capped peaks and has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere.

You will check in at your hotel and enjoy the fresh mountain air, with the rest of the evening free for rest or a short walk around the area.

After breakfast in your hotel at Karimabad, you will spend the full day exploring the royal heritage, culture, and breathtaking views of Hunza Valley.

Your first stop will be the historic Baltit Fort, which is over 700 years old. It sits on a hilltop, offering panoramic views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The fort’s Tibetan-style architecture and wooden balconies reflect the region’s blend of Central Asian and local influences. Inside the fort, you’ll see old rooms, traditional furniture, weapons, and exhibits explaining the history of the Hunza royal family.

Next, you will walk down to Altit Fort, one of the oldest monuments in Hunza, restored with the support of international conservation projects. The fort has beautiful gardens and a courtyard, and it offers views of the river below and the rugged cliffs around it. You’ll also learn about the daily lives of the royals who lived here hundreds of years ago.

After exploring both forts, you will head to the Karimabad Bazaar, a small market area where you can find local gemstones, handmade crafts, traditional caps, shawls, dried fruits, and organic products like honey and apricots. It’s a good place to meet local shopkeepers and see the colors of the region.

In the evening, you will be taken to Eagle’s Nest, a popular viewpoint located above Duikar village. From here, you can witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in the mountains, as golden light covers peaks like Ultar Sar, Ladyfinger Peak, and Rakaposhi.
After enjoying the view, you will return to your hotel in Karimabad.

Overnight stay in Hunza.
After an early breakfast, you will set out on a full-day adventure along the Karakoram Highway (KKH), one of the most scenic mountain roads in the world, leading toward the Pakistan-China border.

Your first stop will be at the stunning Attabad Lake, formed in 2010 after a massive landslide blocked the Hunza River. The turquoise-blue lake is surrounded by steep cliffs and dramatic mountains. You can take a short boat ride here and enjoy the peaceful waters.

Next, you will pass by the Passu Cones, also called the “Passu Cathedral,” a group of pointed mountain peaks that have become one of the most photographed landmarks of northern Pakistan. You’ll stop for pictures and take in the beauty of these natural formations.

You will also stop at the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, considered one of the most thrilling rope bridges in the world. It stretches across the Hunza River and is made of wooden planks and cables. Adventurous visitors can try walking across it, while others may prefer to take photos from the viewpoint.

Finally, if weather and road conditions allow, you will continue all the way to the Khunjerab Pass, which is the highest paved international border crossing in the world at 4,693 meters (15,397 ft). This is the official border between Pakistan and China. The area is often covered in snow, and you may see yaks or marmots along the way.

After spending some time at the border, you will begin your return journey to Hunza. The day is long but filled with natural beauty and unforgettable sights.

After an early breakfast and hotel checkout in Hunza, you will begin a breathtaking journey to Skardu, the heart of Baltistan and a gateway to some of the highest mountains in the world.

The drive takes approximately 9 hours and follows a route that runs along the Indus River, offering dramatic views of deep valleys and snow-covered peaks.
This drive is considered one of the most scenic in the world. As you follow the river’s path, you will pass by towering cliffs, small mountain villages, and rocky gorges. Throughout the drive, you will make stops at viewpoints where you can stretch your legs and take in the raw, untouched beauty of the landscape.

One of the most striking parts of this journey is the Indus River Gorge, where the powerful river cuts through layers of rock, creating an awe-inspiring contrast between earth and water. This area is also rich in geological formations and offers great photo opportunities.

You may see shepherds guiding their goats, local women working in fields, or small children waving as you pass through remote settlements. It’s a journey that slowly takes you from the Hunza region into the heart of Skardu, where the terrain becomes even more dramatic and mysterious.

By evening, you will arrive in Skardu and check in at your hotel. After the long drive, the rest of the evening is free to relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

After breakfast in Skardu, you will spend the day exploring the natural beauty and cultural highlights of this remote region. Skardu is known for its alpine lakes, towering peaks, and Balti heritage.

Your first stop will be Upper Kachura Lake, a crystal-clear alpine lake surrounded by pine trees and rugged mountains. The lake is peaceful and ideal for boating or simply walking along its edge. It’s a favorite spot for nature lovers and photographers.

Next, you will explore the beautiful Sok Valley, a lesser-known valley with green meadows, fresh water streams, and small farms. It is a quiet area perfect for connecting with nature and experiencing local life.

You will also visit an Organic Village, where locals grow their own food without chemicals. This village showcases sustainable living and traditional farming techniques passed down for generations. Next, you will visit the Shigar Fort, also known as “The Fort on Rock.” Originally built in the 17th century by the Raja of Shigar, this historic fort has been beautifully restored and now serves as a museum and heritage hotel. You’ll walk through its stone halls, wooden balconies, and courtyards, learning about the Balti culture and royal history.

A flight from Skardu to Islamabad will be arranged, offering you a bird’s-eye view of the majestic Karakoram Range.

However, due to the mountainous weather, flights are weather dependent. In case of flight cancellation, the return journey will be made by road via Babusar Pass (if it is open) or through the Besham route, depending on the season. Your guide and driver will ensure a safe and comfortable journey either way.

Upon arrival in Islamabad—by air or road—you will check in at your hotel and rest. If there is still time left in the day, and depending on your energy level, a short exploration of the city will be arranged.
